Hi I'm Shirley one of the Long haul Specialists,

I have been in travel all of my adult life and now 61. Working in travel is a true passion and is truly one of the best industry's to work in.

I have worked on both side in retail as a tour operator and love both aspects.

My passion is long haul. Stepping off that plane in another country if one of the best feelings in the world. Your shoulders relax and I usually have a big smile on my face. Ready to experience new cultures, sights and even smells. I count myself very lucky.

Favourite City, Long Haul has to be Hong Kong. I have been lucky to visit many times. This bustling metropolis truly has everything. Sightseeing, Beaches, Theme Parks and of course shopping. So next time you want a city break think long haul and Hong Kong, also just 50 minutes away is Macao three times larger than Vegas. It has everything Vegas has to offer and more.

Favourite holiday of all time has to be South Africa. There are not enough words to describe this wonderful country. The scenery Wow!, food Wow! Excursions Wow!. I spent three weeks driving from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth and it truly was the best three weeks of my life. I planned my trip every step of the way and I seriously need to go back.

Favourite beach destination has to be Grand Cayman. I have been to nearly all the Caribbean destinations but this tops them all. However there are only two all inclusive hotels on the island. Hire a car, drive and enjoy what this wonderful island has to offer. Seven mile beach is the highlight of Grand Cayman, but its the whole vibe. Drive around and experience what this beautiful island has to offer and stop off at one of the amazing beach side restaurants on route.
